So this was a nice and hot weekend here in Eugene... We started it out on Friday night by attending the girls VBS performance out in Venita just west of Eugene. Girls did great, so I hear, Andrew was a little concerned about the 'real' Larry (VeggieTales) coming out on stage, so we hid back in the nursery during the performance.

Saturday was a warm afternoon spent at a fair in Springfield. The kids got to see fire trucks, get there face painted etc... everything that matters to the kids.

Today, Sunday was the employee/family day out at the new RiverBend hospital. We stood in line to tour the operating rooms first thing. We toured the cardiac OR that featured a mock operation, and heart bypass machine. In the Orthopedic OR, a Dr. was practicing using endoscopy. Notice the white light coming from the equipment (see video).

We are tired, and relaxing with the rest of our weekend. See ya,

Warm Weekend!

So here goes my first post using words, not pics :) Nothing too exiting to share... My beautiful wife has been busy with our great kids, going to the club, bible study, home etc...

Our Church - FBC Eugene has a new Sr. pastor named Ben Cross. He has moved here from Grace Community Church in Auburn WA.

We had some friends from Seattle visit this last weekend (The Shipps) and had a great time with them.

'Amazing' neighbor Aaron installed our new LCD TV! Yes we finally bit the bullet and bought one. Aaron installed it on the wall, and it looks SWEET!

I am playing racquetball about three times a week. I have played in three tournaments in the year we have lived here... My mixed doubles partner and I won the A division, and my mens doubles partner and I took 2nd. I look forward to playing A singles in the next tourney.

Work goes well. We are building a new hospital in town named RiverBend, it officially opens for business August 10th.. See pics below.

Thats it for now!
